Hermes · Managed agent

An assistant with context. A workflow with control.

Connect approved company knowledge and tools to the work your team needs to do. We scope the access, review points and support before implementation.

01

Understand the job

Agree the task, source systems and owner before connecting an agent.

02

Set the boundaries

Define what the assistant can read, draft or change, and where a person must approve.

03

Test the handoffs

Check normal work and exceptions against an agreed acceptance plan.

04

Support the operation

Agree ownership, maintenance and support coverage as part of the engagement.

A good enquiry deserves a good handoff.

Bring the conversation, customer context and next action together. Your team reviews the response before anything goes out.

Example enquiry: a customer asks for the proposal discussed on yesterday’s call.

What a reviewed handoff could say

Alex, prepare the proposal using the agreed scope. Confirm the delivery date before sending it to the customer.

A person checks the scope and date, then decides what to send.

Illustrative example using fictional records. Nothing is sent or changed.

Xero Finance OperatorAdvanced managed add-on · custom scoped

Your books, accountant-ready — before the accountant touches them.

Most AI can read a report. Hermes can investigate the ledger, explain what is wrong, make an approval-gated correction, rebuild the pack and hand only the specialist work to your accountant. One conversation. End to end.

MULTI-ENTITY

Link multiple Xero organisations

CROSS-REFERENCE

Match intercompany activity and surface gaps

GROUP VIEW

Build consolidated management accounts

For founders running several companies, Hermes can compare performance, cash, related-party movements and account mappings across entities — replacing a fragile spreadsheet exercise with one traceable operating view.

Approved journals verified. Entity packs balanced. Consolidation trail and evidence bundle prepared.

01 · READ

Understands every company

Connects multiple Xero organisations and reads each chart of accounts, P&L, balance sheet, trial balance, bank feed, invoice, payment and journal.

02 · REVIEW

Finds what the dashboard misses

Cross-references intercompany entries, shared suppliers, director balances, missing evidence and tax-sensitive movements across the group.

03 · APPROVE

Explains the fix before it writes

Shows the impact in plain English and waits for approval. Approved corrections follow a backup, documentation and post-write verification workflow.

04 · DELIVER

Builds the group view

Produces entity-level and consolidated management accounts, evidence packs and specialist-review briefs — then checks the delivery trail.

The leverage

Hermes does the preparation. Your accountant does the judgment and filing.

Give the reviewer structured entity accounts, a cross-company reconciliation trail and a precise list of decisions that actually require specialist judgment.

Scope Xero for your group

Standard connectivity can be included in a Hermes setup; multi-company review, corrective bookkeeping and pack production are scoped separately. Results depend on access, data completeness and approved human review. Consolidated reporting requires agreed mappings, elimination rules and accounting policies; it is not statutory consolidation. Hermes does not replace licensed tax or audit advice.
